Commemoration Hall
Did you know, The Commemoration Hall has been here for the people of Huntingdon since 1842! The building opened to the public in 1842 as the Huntingdon Literary and Scientific Institution, with the objectives of promoting “Moral and Intellectual Improvement, Scientific and General Information, Agricultural Knowledge, Literature and The Arts.”
Today, we’re a thriving, independent arts and cultural space for everyone in Huntingdon. And as a non-profit charity, we’re run by local, passionate volunteers. With a café during the day and professional events regularly on in the evening the Commemoration Hall is used all times of the day and evening. There are also 3 amateur resident drama clubs based here – The Youth Theatre, Drama Club and Heartfelt Productions.
The Commemoration hall is an ideal and competitively priced venue for hire for all occasions, from weddings, parties and performances to business conferences and training we can cater for any event.
