Huntingdon market
Huntingdon’s traditional market takes place each week on Wednesday and Saturday in the High Street. A number of regular visiting markets bring variety and a vibrant atmosphere to the town throughout the year, such as the ever-popular Chilli Fest.
Market
An ancient Royal Charter established the traditional Saturday market here in 1205.
Huntingdon’s present-day street markets are part of the character of the town and help to make this an interesting place to visit.
Typical stalls include: bags and suitcases, bakers, bric-a-brac, butchers, cards, clothing, cut flowers, fishmongers, fruit and vegetables, jewellery, mobile phone accessories, plants, sweets, watch repairs, cakes and bakes.
(Please note that the stalls vary depending on availability.)
The weekly traditional market is organised by the district council.
