Huntingdons Freemens Trust
Huntingdon Freemen’s Trust provides grants to individuals, groups and organisations living, or providing benefit in the form of services within the area covered by Huntingdon Town Council. The trust is monitored by the Charity Commission and operates to a legal mandate, this means that it is not allowed to give grants for services that the government or local council should provide but can supplement them.
A board of trustees meets monthly to consider applications under the following headings:
Relief in need; recreation and leisure; education.
