EUROVISION Comes to Huntingdon

The Eurovision Song Contest Final will be a great evening of fun, celebration, and support for both the UK and Ukraine in the contest! The fun-filled evening will be screened on the BIG screen with a party atmosphere in the main hall with decorations, prizes and giveaways! A real chance for fans of the Eurovision to be ‘United by Music’ and hopefully celebrate something other than ‘Nil points’!

Huntingdon First are extremely proud to announce an exciting partnership with The Commemoration Hall Charity (registered 302645) to host a FREE community screening of the Eurovision Song Contest Final (Saturday 13th May).

This landmark screening will take place in the Commemoration Hall (39 High Street, Huntingdon) the venue being the heart of Arts and Entertainment in Huntingdon town centre. Renowned for being a community-based facility BID are delighted to work in partnership for these screenings to take place.

BID Huntingdon First would like to thank the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the UK Government for supporting and contributing to the funding of the screen site and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) for securing the funding.

Paul Sweeney, Huntingdon First Town Manager, said:

“It’s an amazing opportunity for the community to get together and celebrate not only King Charles III historic coronation but the UK hosting the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine. We hope to see businesses and communities support the screenings that are offered free with thanks to the generous funding support of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, DCMS and the UK Government”.
